First, a quick thank you to those who responded to my post! Oddly enough there's not a lot out there on miniature wooden kayak kits. I did manage to find two sites with some interesting offerings, especially for desktop-sized models. http://www.midwestproducts.com/Chesapeake%2017.htm http://www.waterspirits.com/ I also found what appears to be a good-looking canoe kit! http://www.bearmountainboats.com/kits.asp There are also some folks out there producing some beautiful fuller-sized models [too many to name]. I can only wish I was that talented in the woodworking arena!!! Chris Cunningham also contacted me and sent me some images of two models he put together -- a 3- and 5-foot Greenland and East Arctic respectively. Very impressive models indeed! Right now, my plan is to start out small, with an eye toward the larger-sized models down the road. And thanks again!!! Stay safe -- and happy paddling!
