That makes it a little more difficult. I would contact Monterey Bay
kayaks - they rent at 2 locations, so you can paddle either Monterey Bay
or the Elkhorn Slough.

Then there is Central Coast Kayaks in San Luis Obispo - don't know if
they rent closed deck boats or just SOT's. Same with Paddlesports of
Santa Barbara. Also check with Xtreamline Kayaks in Wilmington.

After that, there is Southwind Kayaks in Irvine. I know that they DO
rent closed deck boats.

Hopefully this will give you someplace to start with. If you need phone
numbers, etc, there should be links to these sites on our club's web
