I would contact Monterey Bay kayaks - they rent at 2 locations, so you can paddle either Monterey Bay or the Elkhorn Slough. Then there is Central Coast Kayaks in San Luis Obispo - don't know if they rent closed deck boats or just SOT's. Same with Paddlesports of Santa Barbara. Also check with Xtreamline Kayaks in Wilmington. After that, there is Southwind Kayaks in Irvine. I know that they DO rent closed deck boats. Hopefully this will give you someplace to start with. If you need phone numbers, etc, there should be links to these sites on our club's web site--www.ckf.org. Have a great time.
