Subaru has been, and still is, supportive of kayaking and other sports. Their fuel economy for what their product line provides is excellent and they have no low end economy models that sell enough to offset their overall fleet mileage. What they are doing is not against "green" only reclassifying to conform to newer standards as their product will, I am told, maintain a similar level of fuel usage. Why not pick on some of the other companies that produce totally inefficient vehicles and don't support outdoor recreation except to push their product?
