Net enviro effect likely good, since it will probably cut into guzzler-SUV sales a tiny bit, whereas lost sales will generally be to cars, which are likely more fuel efficient. Good. 4. Unclear if safety is reduced in new model. Standards it has to meet may be lower, but that tells us nothing about the vehicle. Higher off the ground, it may be slightly more prone to rollovers.
