My Etrex doesn't get used for navigation. It's just a fun way to look at your miles traveled, current speed, max speed and other interesting (IMHO) info. If you are navigating with it, and don't already possess rock solid manual navigation skills and have the tools on-board with you, you're setting yourself up for big trouble - or is that "Deep Trouble".
