RE: [Paddlewise] Problems Fitting a Spray Skirt

I failed to mention the following in my original post...

I'm considering 2 other Snapdragon skirt.

First, the Supratex Sea Tour. It's the Ocean Trek but with a
"universal" nylon tube. I should be able to use that in the heat of
summer, and when wearing winter cloths... shouldn't I? Is it a decent
choice? It's $100 and I'm having trouble finding it in stock anywhere.

Second, the Snapdragon Sea Tour all Nylon Spray Skirt (Nylon deck and
universal tube). It's only $60 and in stock at Rutabaga. The text says
it's not for composite boats. I asked why, and they said composites
have a sharper edge around the rim. My strip built boat has a blunt
edge, so that shouldn't be an issue at all. Snapdragon says it's for
"less demanding conditions". I imagine that it will implode easier and
so forth, but my skills aren't such that I need a high performance
skirt. I'm still learning to roll, and don't venture out in real rough
conditions - just moderate conditions.

Comments on these choices?
