I'm sorry, but I don't understand this at all. I have done countless "T" rescues and would have to say the very vast majority of boats that I have applied this to do not have deck lines. I don't think I really used the deck lines for the rescues on the boats that did have them. Please understand that I have nothing at all against deck lines, they can be a nice little luxury in certain situations, but I can't say that I really consider them to be a necessity in your typical everyday sea kayaking type of scenario, and they are certainly are not required for doing the "T" rescue.
