With 40 deg temps and melting, I'm starting to think about summer trips. I may get a chance to make some weekend (or Fri - Sun) runs up to the Bayfield, WI / Apostle Islands area. I'm curious if anyone could suggest some itineraries in that area (or other areas on the south shore of Lake Superior) that include 2 to 2 1/2 days of paddling - either overnights or several day paddles....any favorite spots to explore would be great!
