Lets see what we can say:

1.	New model uses 180 pounds less materials.  Enviro effect may be negative if 
replacements are dirtier to produce, but looks good.  Good.

2.	New model has same or maybe better gas mileage.  Neutral to good.

3.	New model has more truck-like features.  May be spurned by those who seek a 
car, and purchased by those who want a truck.  Net enviro effect likely good, 
since it will probably cut into guzzler-SUV sales a tiny bit, whereas lost sales 
will generally be to cars, which are likely more fuel efficient.  Good.

4.	Unclear if safety is reduced in new model.  Standards it has to meet may be 
lower, but that tells us nothing about the vehicle.  Higher off the ground, it 
may be slightly more prone to rollovers.  Neutral to poor.

What can we add to this list?
