I started carrying rolaids in a small waterproof pack in case I or anyone
else got seasick or some bad food ju ju. To date I've not used it but two folks
I've paddled with worked up some hot spit and felt greatly relieved that I had
some available on the water. The kind of whiskey I drink though, doesn't give
me heartburn, Doug, maybe you should switch brands! ; )

Cheers,

Does Rolaids really work for seasickness (the symptoms?) Cool.

I'll vouch for Rob. He drinks good whisky--smooth stuff! (Whisky with
no 'e', right?!)

It worked in both sea trials for a guy and a gal on different days. It works
for me as acid percolating in the gut is what gets me nauseous. One of my
coaches, Rowland Woolven, carries small hard candies as he believes that
seasickness can be worked out by constant movement of the lower jaw, correcting
imblances in the inner ear canal. I've not tried that, though.
