G'Day,

Here's a Who's Who update from Shawn Baker

http://www.paddlewise.com/whoswho/index.html#ShawnBaker

Sorry for the delay but I was happily stuck on Deal Island in Bass Strait
for a few weeks, then had to travel on business and am now laid low with a
cold.

The "Whos Who" website is a public web site hosted by Paddlewise and
accessible to anyone on the internet.

If anyone would like to put a new entry or update and/or small pictures,
just send it as text in an email with optional pictures attached. Address it
to mailto:rebyl_kayak_at_iprimus.com.auplease . We tend not to include
addresses or telephone numbers and use a simple code for the email addresses
for privacy. the entry can be as detailed or simple as you like. No
particular format is required. Its worth looking at the examples already
there.

If you've sent me an entry and not had a response it must have slipped by!
My apologies in that case and could you let me know?

All the best, PeterO

From Peter's Who's Who update I noticed that you've got a Necky Chatham
16. Care to post a review? BTW, did you compare it to the other Chatham
models. At least one site I've seen indicates there are 16', 17', and 18'
versions available.

subject: [Paddlewise] Looking for old p'wise post - writing project
Date: Thu, 19 Feb 2004 20:02:53 -0800
I've been lurking here, not paddling this winter, though had some great
times over the summer, locally and in Clayoquot Sound.

I'm taking a writing course this winter and lost the piece I want to work on
for a project.
I found really old floppies with stories I saved from P'wise to re-read -
mine isn't among them :-(
I never posted it to the trip page, and can't find it anywhere.

I'm working very long days again this year and so I would like to
avoid starting it over if I can work
from a base already created.

If you have a story archive of your own, would you check for
key words 'Boca del Inferno", Nootka Sound, Friendly Cove,
Trish (a paddling companion on that trip)?

If by some chance you have it, would you please send it to me?

Of course I'd like to keep this from turning into a list discussion; it's just
a one time request,
so watch that "reply to all" ;-)

Thanks ~
