Having the Fox 40 would satisfy Canadian CG regs for a 50-foot floating heaving line, and would be more useful (IMO) than a throw bag for occasions when a land-based line is needed. Personally I wear a NorthWater rescue/tow line at my waist. As to restuffing the Fox 40, you would not need to do so between throws, but when you're all done it is a little difficult to re-stuff. Not a major hassle though, and you don't have to be fussy, just poke the line in. The word I used to describe it was "dorky", a term Mr. Groleau didn't appreciate. To his credit, he sent us one to evaluate anyway!
