Hi Paddlewisers, I'll be in Vancouver with my Kayak this summer. First I thought the biggest problem would be to get a "seat" for my boat on the plane, but now it is that my travel agency can't find a company that rents cars with a roof rack (neither Yakima nor Thule;-)). Any ideas?? The other question, do you know a place where to leave the boat for 2 days or so (maybe a local club, a marina or anywhere else) to do some pre- paddling arrangements/ shopping? Hi everybody, hm this seems to become more complicated than I expected. ;-) Thanks for your tip and the links Sean, probably I'll try that aproach when I'm a little more desperate! The other posibility would be to walk the boat on the trolley to the next launch site :-) - But I don't remember there was a boardwalk at the road to the airport???? And I'm not to sure which of these two possibility's would be the more desperate! Hi Stephen I was passing by their store in Abbotsford a couple of time but they didn't had the 7 - 11 store opening hours so I couldn't take a closer look. This time I won't go up the Fraser "that far" (I'm from tiny Germany you know ;-)) cause I wanna spend my precious time paddling - not driving (you know as I heard a couple of times f #'*$' Germans allways in a rush ;-) I've got to confess it's true!!) And hello Raphael, I know Ecomarine guess I bought a chart of the Broken Group there - at least it was at Granville Island. And what I remember most is (yes you got it) the brewery ;-)). But how do you think they could be of any help? (- Ecomarine not the brewery) Thanks a lot so far Martin sorrry for doing what I'm doing with your english ;-) *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
