I will be in Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan in early June. If the weather is half-way decent(medium rain), I would like to rent a single kayak for a day paddle in each of these places. I am an experienced paddler who is strong, cautious, safety-minded and a photographer. I expect to stay near shore since I will paddle solo, but will bring radio and phone for back-up. I will check charts and tides info before I leave. It discusses paddling ideas, including logistical suggestions, in locations all around the Inside Passage, and seems well suited to a paddler looking for short trips in a number of spots.
