Hi all - as for the Calabria mentioned abov you might wish to take a click to http://www.prijon.com/Prijon_2003_WEB/Calabria.htm. The Calabria is an often sold recreational kayak and a rather safe one if used within its (or even better:) the paddlers limits. As for off-shore kayaking it misses a front bulgehead which means that without any kind of floatation it might become almost unbailable. btw I am puzzled about your rather harsh judgement, Duane.
