Hi,

adding to the list:

I have twice seen serious allergic reactions on paddling trips.
One case was treated with an inhaler. The other, a bee sting, the
victim was transfered to a double and taken out as an inactive passengerin
a double. Lucky we had a double along on the trip.

We had one case of acute sea/motion sickness that required the victim
to land on a handy beach and lie down and rest for an hour or more.
I don't remember exactly how long we stayed there waiting for the
symptoms to recede.

We had one case of moderate hypothermia, but luckily the trip ended
soon after the situation became obvious to some of us-- but not the
victim. It was good we didn't need to argue about it.
