I personally prefer a Tilley. They have a dual strap that totally prevents it from blowing off, it's cool, floats, and has a lifetime warranty and is insured against loss. The only drawback is that a few of the younger kayakers in our local club say you have to be over 50 to "qualify" to wear a Tilley.
