I bought one of these too, they are a fantastic bargain. I had the latex feet fitted at a dive shop. Very comfortable, brand new and (at the time) $90 US. Non-breathable diving drysuits won't work very well. Last fall I ran across a person listing Canadian military surplus drysuits on ebay. They are breathable (Goretex) and are in good condition. They don't come with booties or ankle gaskets so I purchase latex booties and adhesive from OS Systems. I used the suit all this winter and have been very happy with it. I just checked and they have several more listed: http://tinyurl.com/3b8fw Seals and adhesive: http://www.ossystems.com/repair/seals.html Usual disclaimers: I have no relationship with either the ebay seller or with OS Systems --- just a satisified customer. *************************************************************************** *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s). I'm not sure about sizes, being close to sizes 2 and 4; hopefully they would exchange unused item for larger/smaller if needed, but I will appreciate any advice (same waters, Vancouver mainland). They have: 1) Size 2: Height 5'4 to 5'7 inches Chest 36 to 39 " 2) Size 4: Height 5'6 to 5'9 inches Chest 33 to 36 " My height is 5'7", i.e. at the top limit of size 2, and my chest is 36", i.e. size 4 could be a little tight at chest, depending on clothes. Size 2 seems more appropriate - zero height margin doesn't bother me, not much vertical movements when paddling. Their another available size is, I think, too roomy (size 8: Height 5'11 to 6'2 inches Chest 39 to 42 "). No other sizes at the moment - this is a surplus, anyway. > I bought one of these too, they are a fantastic bargain. I had the latex feet > fitted at a dive shop.
