I've only been rolling a year with pretty consistent good results, and I've never tried rolling with a Euro paddle! I guess I have to admit, I'm a little hesitant to try. This has more to do with the fact that my last 600 miles of paddling have been with a GP, and I only recently discovered the fun of a short 220 cm wide-blade Euro paddle for quick acceleration and fun playing with strokes. I'm tall, and I've always had a high angle stroke... and because my GP is long, I tended to have too much of it in the water. My promise to myself is to make my rolls this spring and summer with the Euro as comfortable as with the GP. Since my strokes in general still need lots of work, I'm ALWAYS humbled. Hey, as long as we're having fun! *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
