Funnily enough, I have a friend who has been agonising over a first boat purchase for a few months now, and has paddled and tried almost everything available worth considering, including Mirage 580 and 530. He has finally settled on a Nordkapp Jubilee over all other boats. I am very keen to jump into it and have a paddle. Weighs 25 kg, with skeg, and will be marginally more when it is fitted out to seaworthy standard, with a foot pump. The Nordkapp is not obsolete yet.
