G'Day All, Can any one help with knowledge or experience of paddlers who suffer from epilepsy. Are rescue techniques viable if a paddler experiences a grand mal? The case I'm thinking of is someone who last suffered a grand mal in 2001 and who wants to take up paddling. I have pointed out what little I know of the risks as described by the National Society for Epilepsy and have suggested sit on tops and doubles but they have a strong preference for sit in kayaking. All the best, PeterO *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
