I carry 16' to 17' kayaks on either side, squeeze a WS Piccolo in between and drive as fast as can from Pennsylvania to places like Virginia, North Carolina, etc. Of course, some of that time is spent creeping around D.C. on I-95, but otherwise after several trips over several years, I've had no problems. I _do_ tie down all boats at both ends. - Paul *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
