Hello all paddlers! Anyone in the Midwest ought to come to the Michiana Paddlefest on June 27, 2004 in South Bend, IN (2 hours east of Chicago, 3 hours north of Indianapolis, at the Indiana/Michigan border. Paddlefest is a fun event, focusing on conservational issues and the promotion of paddlesports. There will be canoe and kayak events geared toward all ages (4-99!) and all skill levels (elite veteran racers to the first-time paddler). *Youth Pond Race (ages 5-12, kayaks provided) *2 Mile Fun Race *7 Mile Intermediate Race *16 Mile Marathon *Duathlon (2 mile paddle/3mile trail run) All details, including online registration, can be found at http://www.paddlefest.org All pre-registered racers will receive a t-shirt, water bottle, free park admission, food, and fun!
