I have an older HX350S. I bought a West Marine neoprene "Floater Case".
It is not waterproof, but it does absorb wave impacts and initial shock of
rolls. It has a small clear vinyl window and all the controls are operable
without taking the radio out of the case. The antenna, on/off knobs, and
squelch knob do stick out of the case through small holes.

I do not use the radio on a frequent basis, so I am not going to guarantee
that this cures all problems, but it does seem to be a reasonable method of
protecting from wave impacts. I have taken the same approach with my Optio
WR33 camera (rated JIS-7 water resistant) I bought a zippered neoprene
glass case that just fits the camera. I think it is a little easier to
access the camera than with one of the waterproof cases and does protect
the camera from wave impacts.
