Was interesting to view, even though I don't have a Klepper. Beware of these particular golf-cart wheels - they are not made for heavy loads and foam tires might come off the rim. I had to stop and put them on every 50-60 yards, carrying lighter boat bags but with a Balogh sail-rig and camping gear. I think total weight was about 90-100 lbs (40-45 kg). Especially after those bumps where ferry ramp joints the pier, or after any rocky or bumpy surface. Ferry crew was very patient, even though I deprived them of some profit, not taking my car on board :-). May be tires come off the rim because they are old, and new tires sit more tight under heavy loads for some time. It never happened when I rolled 56 lbs hardshell kayak on concrete surface. > Just have added a few photos from Skye (with comments) to Michael Edelman's > site FoldingKayaks.org: > > http://foldingkayaks.org/gallery/tord > > More to come at a later date! > > Take care, > > Tord *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
