I used to be suprized about this but thinking about it more it is
consistent.

I have always noticed that my glasses pick up more dust, dirt, water,
spray 
paint, etc., on the inside than on the outside.
I think it has to do with the way air flows around the face. It mike
make
for an interesting study. Someday someone might get a Ph.D. out of it.
:-)

I often use Rain-X on my glasses for boating. It helps, ....... some.
