The Tasman Express is made by Quality Kayaks of NZ. Qualirty Kayaks used to
have some link with Nimbus in Canada but I'm not sure of the current status

The page for the kayak is http://www.q-kayaks.co.nz/products/tasman.asp

The Express is a rotomoulded kayak and the Tasman Elite is the kevlar/carbon
model. To quote the website - The Tasman Express is an exceptional
performance sea kayak. At 5.3 metres long, this sleek looking craft has been
designed to maintain a good forward speed, especially when loaded up with
gear. Its low profile and flared bow enables this kayak to perform extremely
well in adverse or windy conditions.
