Perhaps I did not include enough information in my past post about boat
copies.

I pointed out that any boat within these tolerances would surely be
considered a copy. It is highly possible that something less close would
also be considerd a copy. Also note that the list had a heirarchy with
increasing precision as one progressed down the list. Some people might find
they need not go all the way.

My list did not include scaling as that would or should be obvious. The
length tolerances had to do with building errors or cumulative building
errors. Making a boat longer or shorter or narrower or wider while still
maintaining the same shape qualifies as a copy to my mind. Simply re-scaling
to the orignal size would reveal the similarity.
