John.. Is the boat positively identified as a Klepper?  Don't forget there
were many folding boat makers in Europe before the war, and some models looked
remarkably like Kleppers. [ Which of course re-visits the whole debate about
patents and copyright...!!!]

But if I lived in the U.S. and I had a worthy Klepper frame of that vintage I
would consider Mark Eckhart of Colorado.. he's your resident Klepper
expert...
