Does anyone have a sugestion for the source of a Dry Suit? <<<< Check out http://www.chillcheater.com/products/shop.asp?cid=795. Note that they call them "Paddlesuits" to distinguish them from the kind of drysuits used by scuba divers. I too was in the market for a drysuit a while back and ended up buying one through these guys (thanks to a recommendation from a fellow Paddlewiser). I have no connection with the company except as a customer. In fact, I'm planning to do a mini product review to be posted here soon. Their suits are all custom-made from their proprietary breathable fabric, which is a stretchable fabric a little like fuzzy rubber, but tougher and not as fuzzy. Although the fabric is breathable and much more comfortable than coated nylon (then again - what isn't?), they acknowledge that it isn't as breathable as Goretex. However, due to the fuzziness on the inside, I found I didn't notice the moisture buildup very much. Because they are custom-made, you place an order with them on their website or via email or via telephone. There are about 20 measurements needed and if your body is not symmetrical, you can specify different measurements for, say, your left wrist vs your right wrist. My suit came back fitting me very well, although I'm a fairly average size (5'9" 185 pounds). The waiting time for them to ship is about a month, although I was in a hurry and they shipped within about 3 weeks.
