Just for fun, I handed my friend Patrick my gps unit the other night on a calm reservoir. He paddles a VCP Skerray and has been using a GP more and more lately. I invited him to try and reset my top speed display, 6.9mph in a Prijon Catalina with a Nimbus Wavewalker Euro style paddle. He handed it back to me a few minutes later with 7.3mph showing. I'll never question the efficacy of a Greenland paddle again.
