catching up with old mail. i was given some of those "drill a hole in a piece of wood" "stakes" but recently found (and purchased) Snow and San Tent Anchors made by Mountain Hardwear mountainhardwear.com I think it was in the region of $10... for a pack of 4 they work on the same principle as the wood anchors but are extremely lightweight as they are made out of packcloth with loop webbing.
