I saw rentals listed on Caye Caulker for $60/day - but even at that price the boats are probably entry level plastic or sit on tops. I have seen slickrocks video but being adventurous and cheap, I would prefer to set my own itinerary. The outfitter below, although mainly a dive location, rents camp sites, rooms, huts over the water, provides meals and rents kayaks. The poly wilderness systems for $125/week does not look to bad. http://www.glovers.com.bz/glover2.html They are stable, unsinkable and easy to climb back in after snorkeling. $150/week. Touring single Dagger, Chinook or Wilderness Systems with rudder, skirt and hatch seals, are faster and great for long distance $125 /week. Doubles with rudder, skirt and hatch seals $175/week. Kayaks less than week, $20 per person for three hours. If you want dry bags bring your own. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert C Cline" <rccline_at_fastmail.fm> Subject: [Paddlewise] Belize - Glovers Atoll/ International Shipping > Glover's reef would be a good place to paddle.
