Nice dryer.  The squirrel-cage fan (no longer availbable at RadioShack) can
be used from computer stores as well (installed on top of microchips, it
should fit against the tube opening).  Are those gloves NRS hydroskin? How
dry, stiff, durable are they?  REI Warmers that I use, protect 50/50 - suede
on palms absorbs water like a sponge, sometimes it's warmer without them
when weather isn't too cold,  'cause bare hands dry faster :-)
