[Paddlewise] Minimalist Car Topping

Paddlewisers,

I thought you might like the following excerpt
from my day paddle report:

"Besides just a wonderful time, the only other
thing of note was how we were all amazed at Java
Jack's minimalist car topping of his kayak. All
he had was two blocks of foam, which the kayak
sat on upside down. There were no straps.
Instead, he rolled down the window and held onto
the kayak with his hand. He said he didn't have
very far to drive, but I (as well as the others)
never saw anything like it. Then I remembered
that Jack is a construction worker, and it didn't
seem so strange after all."
