Many weekends and a full week in the Everglades later I am still pleased. Big, fairly light, strong, very well ventilated. I live in Georgia, USA and so humidity is a real issue most of the year. When kayak camping I dont really care about weight and only worry about volume when packing the boat. I looked up the stats on the Lightning, Hyperlight and Meteor Light. The packed size for the Hyperlight is 19" x 6" with an internal area of 43 square feet. The packed size for the Lightning is 25" x 7", internal area of 31 square feet. The Packed size for the Meteor Light is 24" x 6", internal area of 40 square feet. The Meteor Light has three identical poles making it quite idiot proof and very strong. It has a nice vestibule and a big fly window. It can commonly be found on line for $179. Good luck hunting. I dont think any of the above tents will disappoint.
