Though I realize in hindsight that it could be construed that way, what I said was not meant to be an insult to Scott. He is not self loathing and I don't know if he is a liberal or not. I wanted to articulate what I felt I needed to become to stop incurring the wrath of those on the other side of the debate. That is, to stop being called ignorant for not agreeing with them.
