I have not used this product and don't think I would after looking the  
installation intructions. It also looks to be fairly think.
 
You would be better off installing a keel strip. If nothing else, it will  
cost you a lot less than this product. Regardless of what you do, you will  
probably need to repair any gel coat cracks or holes.
