[Paddlewise] Fw: Bay Paddle....26 degrees but beautiful

Tim Hamilton, Jeff Van Cott (from Veracruz, Mexico) and I launched from the
L-head at 7am Sunday 12/26 with a 26 degree temperature.  Sunny though and
beautiful.  9.6 mile paddle from L-head downtown Corpus Christi, around
aircraft carrier Lexington, down north beach to Indian Point (Portland) and
back.  25 degrees when launched, 38 degrees when returned at 10:30 am.  Pics

Another great paddle was the Nueces River last week...although it was blowing
30 mph on the bay, it was very calm and protected on the river...launching
from Hazel Basemore Park.
