Thanks all, for your responses to my initial inquiry. It is somewhat comforting, to know that it is not as uncommon a problem, as I had first thought. I had my second session of therapy, and have learned much more about this affliction, than I had when writing my initial question to you all. And you have all been of great help as well. To answer your question about what form of therapy I have gotten. It really is nothing more than balancing exercises. Some are as simple as focusing on a letter, or some such point on a wall, and moving my head from side to side as fast as I can, without said spot becoming blurry. Doing this 8-10 times a day, for only 1-2 minutes each. Sounds simple enough...uh huh. That^Rs what I thought too. Walking down a long hallway, and rotating my head 45 degrees left and right every 4-5 steps is another. Walking a straight line with my eyes closed. Balancing on one foot. Etc^E^E. These all sound so simple, to be of little effect. But they have helped tremendously. As to the cause of my problem^E.. An unknown virus. That^Rs all the answer I can get. And frankly, I suppose it is all that I need. I am vertical, and still taking in air. Life is good! Thanks again^E^E^E Mitch Stay low, keep movin *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
