Wondering if anyone else saw the video of this "rescue" that
went bad (the end result is good with the mother and baby
doing ok in the hospital). Seemed awkward to me to attempt
to pull a small raft across a swollen, rushing river perpendicular
to the flow with nothing more than a rope tied to the bow. The
raft flipped sideways in the current after leving the far bank
dumping the victims into the rushing river. Anyone else
see this? I'd be very curious what the Texas swift water rescue
team in San Marcos would have to say about the method used.
