Anyone have experience with the Snow Peak WG GS-010 Gigapower stove? This
is supposed to be an outstanding white gas stove with high output, no
priming, full-range flame control and very little noise (the part missing
from say...the MSR Dragonfly) but...just doesn't seem like a commonplace
make/model which makes me wonder. May be partially due to price ($150) and
the fact that they had a problem with materials on the fuel pump so the old
style is recalled. Supposedly the company has been making high-end gear in
Japan for 50 yrs or so. I know many people like their titanium
cookware. Just curious if anyone has first hand knowledge of this stove.

Anyone had rotator cuff impingement syndrome and/or scapular problems? I'm
now in physical therapy for these problems, which surfaced in September, and
have seen improvement. Wondering what experience anyone else has had?
Specific exercises? Successful (or not) outcomes with PT? Timeline?
Followup exercises or activities to insure being able to paddle?

Thanks -

I'll bet a good percentage of the PWers have or have had (scratch that
last - it doesn't go away) rotator cuff problems. And the treatments
needed vary from rest through physical therapy and cortisone shots to
surgery. Depends how badly you've injured it and how long you've
pretended it wasn't there. I had it in both shoulders. Six months of
PT fixed up the right shoulder;the left shoulder needed a shot of
cortisone (magic! I went in there unable to raise my arm, and left with
full range of motion). But it sneaks back periodically in one or the
other or both shoulders. Your therapist will teach you some exercises.
Then it's your job to do them FOREVER. 'Cause when you don't you pay.
