Anyone had rotator cuff impingement syndrome and/or scapular problems? I'm
now in physical therapy for these problems, which surfaced in September, and
have seen improvement. Wondering what experience anyone else has had?
Specific exercises? Successful (or not) outcomes with PT? Timeline?
Followup exercises or activities to insure being able to paddle?

Yes, I went into PT for a rotator cuff injury and it was very successful.
Could be that the fact that my Physical Therapist was a paddler helped. The
only thing he didn't want me to do was roll during the rehab. I think I went
for around 8 weeks, but kept up the exercises for 3 or 4 months. In general,
I found the injury slow to heal, and don't think it was completely cured for
over a year. Be sure to do the exercises on both arms. I also had
ultra-sound and was told to ice with a dixie cup twice a day, which I didn't.
If you want me to describe the actual exercises, contact me back channel.
