Winter has finally arrived in Central Pennsylvania. This was the first weekend in months I wasn't out on the Conodoguinet (a tributary of the mighty Susquehanna). The creek was still flowing pretty good yesterday, but temperatures in the teens and a below zero chill factor kept me off the water. My gear and skill level aren't quite up to that. The creek is still flowing today, but with significant ice in the water. Unless we get some above freezing temperatures soon, she'll be pretty well iced up, and my kayak will stay in the garage until it thaws.
