Even quiet Tybee Island, Georgia USA isnt without those waterfront land owners who would rather not interact with others. There is a huge sign on the South tip of the island that says (of course) NO TRESPASSING PRIVATE PROPERTY. It is ignored. There was a tall fence post to the left of the back river boat ramp that was topped with a NO TRESPASSING sign. It was well below the high tide mark. I watched for five years as the sign would be torn off by someone and then replaced by someone else. Eventually the fence post disappeared entirely. I prefer to simply urinate on an object that I want to claim as mine. Remember that if we ever camp together...
