Dave, any fool can see that Duane got it just right, given level trim, both
the block and prismatic coefficients came in at a perfect "1". Many kayaks
can't come up to even half of that.
I'm willing to bet that this is one of the few kayaks that is actually
faster with a pronounced stern heavy trim (much like Duane is paddling it in
the picture) then when it is at level trim.
