I stopped today at Stapples and Office Depot (in Canada); couldn't find Stabilo Aquarellable, and there was Stanford Sharpie Ultra Fine, mentioned here earlier, - but sales clerk was not sure if it was really waterproof. He suggested Staedtler Lumocolor Permanent, $CDN 6, pack of 4 (red, blue, black and green). I checked it - it is waterproof, and writes nicely on laminated charts and fiberglass. In fact, on most surfaces you'll need an eraser to remove it completely - water doesn't help. It comes in size S (0.4 mm) and M (1 mm). Made in Germany, so must be available in Europe too. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
