I am going to be in Bogen, Germany for about a week during the middle of April. All but a few days are dedicated already, but I'm wondering if anyone knows much about the Danube in that area. I've got a folding boat, a Kahuna, that I could take with me, but it would double the amount of luggage on a trip that involves train trips across the country and several intermediate stops and I'd only have a little time to use it. The only picture of the river in that area that I've seen suggests that it's more or less a rural flat-water river. Is that an accurate picture?
