Alex said: 230 cm paddle works well for all Feathercraft singles, but for wider folders it won't be enough. Besides, many of them have high cockpit coaming, this is another reason to go longer than 230 cm. I have a Feathercraft K-1 (Expedition) and a K-2. The longest paddle I own is a 220 and it is fine for either of the folders. As with other discussions about paddle length, I think the sort of stroke style one has makes a big difference. I am 5'8" with relatively long arms if that helps understand what I'm saying. My wife, who is 5'2", uses the same blades and hasn't had any trouble with the double. She uses a flatter stroke than my more vertical style.
