Peter: The massassaga provincial park near parry sound has excellent kayaking and canoe camping spots. There are two access points. Information regarding this park is obtained through the Oastler lake park office. The Pete's Place access point has access to Georgian bay without any portages. White squall is a kayak outfitter in parry sound, and has gear and further information. The honey harbour area (beausoleil island) is nice but has a great amount of power boat traffic. Hope this of some help. Also, swift canoe in waubaushene also rents kayaks. Good luck. Let me know if I can help with more information as I live in the area. Bart J. Patel-Schneider Hi: My scout (actually venturer) troop is planning a summer kayaking trip in Georgian Bay. The goal is to go all the way down the eastern shore of Georgian Bay. Does anyone have good suggestions for camping spots on the way? Peter F.
